Octavio Rosas Landa is an economist with a master’s in geography, and a professor in the School of Economics at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He was a proponent of Mexico’s General Water Act (Ley General de Aguas) and is a founding member of the National Assembly of the Environmentally Affected (Asamblea Nacional de Afectados Ambientales—ANAA).
