Esta reunión tiene el propósito de proveer actualizaciones respecto de los mapas detallados (resolución de 30 m) y otros productos cartográficos sobre el cambio en la cobertura del suelo que están siendo elaborados para Canadá, Estados Unidos y México. Se discutirá, asimismo, el plan de trabajo correspondiente al resto del proyecto, lo que incluye productos relacionados con la cubierta terrestre para el Grupo de Modelización del Carbono de América del Norte y el proyecto sobre carbono azul en la región.
