Themed “Youth Breaking Silos,” this three-part webinar series brings together youth leaders and organizations that support youth from across North America to share insights and explore how youth are driving innovative solutions for a more sustainable future.

Throughout these interactive sessions, participants will hear inspiring stories and practical experiences from Indigenous Knowledge Holders, youth leaders and organizations working alongside youth. Together, they are collaborating to build more sustainable and inclusive communities, whether by advancing youth-driven businesses and entrepreneurship, integrating Indigenous and Traditional Ecological Knowledge into environmental action, or strengthening community resilience and local governance through youth engagement.

This webinar is the first of this series and the second in a three-part series titled “What Businesses Need to Know,” highlighting key topics for the private sector and forming part of the CEC’s ongoing efforts to engage with businesses. This session will spotlight how emerging young leaders are driving sustainability, equity and creativity within and alongside organizations, including key players in the private sector. The discussion will explore real-world examples of youth intra- and entrepreneurship, corporate engagement and new business models that place people and the planet at the center of innovation.
