The Submitter asserts that the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has failed to enforce the 1990 Clean Air Act (CAA) and its amendments.
In particular, the Submitter asserts that the US failed to enforce 42 USC § 7401 (c), by not issuing “an Administrative Order mandating that corrective actions [be] taken by Calumet Lubricants, LLC” following an inspection of the facility that revealed violations. The Submitter further asserts that the US “has failed to produce any kind of results in pursuance to the environmental laws and regulations that were violated.”
The Submitter requests that the Secretariat produce and publish a factual record on their assertions.
