Q”apaj Conde is Associate Programme Management Officer at the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity. Previously, he served as Indigenous Fellow in the World Intellectual Property Organization (2013 – 2014), and a Legal Officer in the Centro de Estudios Multidisciplinarios-Aymara (2016 – 2017). He holds a law degree from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (Bolivia), a Master of Laws from the University of Seville (Spain) and a Doctor of Juridical Sciences from the University of Arizona (USA).
