Fadi Cherri
Fadi Cherri first joined the public service as an interviewer with Statistics Canada, spending significant time living and working in the North.
He then worked with The Arctic Council’s Sustainable Development Working Group, overseeing Canada’s contributions to the “Zero Arctic” project. In collaboration with Finland and Japan, the project proposed designs for carbon neutral Arctic building constructions inspired by the traditions and architecture of Indigenous Peoples.
As a policy analyst with the National Indigenous Economic Development Board, Fadi feels privileged to be able to support the Board’s vision of a vibrant economy where Indigenous Peoples are self-sufficient and prosperous.
