The Lower Tuscarawas staff participated in the 9th annual Monarch Blitz that is held this year from July 25th to August 3rd. Monarchs (Danaus plexippus) are a threatened species in the United States, and for conservation efforts it is vital to track populations of monarchs and milkweeds (host plant).
