Workshops on the conservation, restoration and management of blue carbon habitats
As part of the CEC project Enhancing Co-Benefits of Marine Protected Areas, this series of workshops on blue carbon provides a forum for blue carbon experts to exchange information, best practices, case studies, and opportunities related to blue carbon ecosystems as part of Marine Protected Areas (MPA) and other effective area-based conservation measures (OECM) management. Sessions focus on gaining awareness of Indigenous perspectives on blue carbon, understanding blue carbon stocks and sequestration, and exploring blue carbon ecosystem conservation and restoration.
