Jorge Ramírez Pech
With a bachelor's degree in biology and a master’s degree specializing in apiculture, Jorge Ramírez Pech has worked at Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán (UADY) in Mexico; as a research technician at Bochum University in Germany; and as a field and laboratory worker at Düsseldorf University in Germany. He was also a technician and a lead honey promoter at Citrofrut. He has extensive experience in apiculture training, project and enterprise management, and honey marketing. He is currently an apiculturist and meliponiculturist (keeper of stingless bees) and manages the website <abejasmiel.com> and its social networks, with the fundamental mission of creating knowledge and awareness of honeybees (including stingless bees).
