North American Power Plant Air Emissions
North American Power Plant Air Emissions builds upon the first-such CEC assessment (published in 2004) that compiled information on emissions of criteria air pollutants, mercury, and carbon dioxide from power plants in North America for the year 2002. For the first time, data on the release of air pollutants from power plants burning fossil fuels were brought together from different national sources, varying greatly in terms of completeness and accessibility, into one format offering comparable information on fossil fuel power plant emissions in North America.
North American Strategy for Catalyzing Cooperation on Dioxins and Furans, and Hexachlorobenzene
This Strategy for addressing DLCs and HCB provides documentation describing how the three governments will cooperate in implementing their obligations and commitments established in CEC Council Resolutions 95-05, 99-01, 06-09 and 08-06. This Strategy catalyzes current activities by the Parties under their respective domestic programs, as well as commitments, as appropriate, under the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and other international agreements.

Wintering Grassland Bird Densities in Chihuahuan Desert Grassland Priority Conservation Areas, 2007-2010
This first-ever, region-wide pilot survey was initiated to inventory, research and monitor wintering birds at randomly-selected sites in Grassland Priority Conservation Areas (GPCAs) in the Chihuahuan Desert in northern Mexico and western Texas. It generated data on habitat conditions and abundance of 50 grassland obligate or facultative species in the 11 GPCAs, including 30 priority species of high regional or continental conservation interest.
