Daniel Normandin

Daniel Normandin is a biologist and an administrator by training who works as a consultant, educator, and high-profile speaker on circular economy. He has helped create and manage several academic research units on this topic during his career: the Institute for Environment, Sustainable Development, and Circular Economy (EDDEC) on the Université de Montréal campus; the Center for Intersectoral Studies and Research on Circular Economy (Centre d'études et de Recherches Intersectorielles en Économie Circulaire, CERIEC) at the École de technologie supérieure, which he directs; and the Research Network on Circular Economy of Quebec (Réseau de recherche en économie circulaire du Québec, RRECQ). Daniel also sits on the Expert Panel on Circular Economy in Canada of the Council of Canadian Academies.
