Jennifer Pitt has worked on behalf of conservation nongovernmental organizations for 25 years to protect and restore the Colorado River for people and nature. She is currently the Colorado River Program Director for the National Audubon Society, where she collaborates with a team on a range of issues that address sustainability and resilience in the Colorado River Basin, including state-based groundwater and river management reforms and federal rulemaking. Pitt also serves as US co-chair of the Minute 323 Environmental Work Group to implement habitat restoration in Mexico in the Colorado River Delta.
