The CEC hosted a workshop on environmentally sound management practices for the recycling and refurbishing of e-waste.
The workshop addressed the problem of e-waste and the environmental, economic and social benefits from the adoption of these practices by small and medium-sized businesses in Canada, Mexico and the United States.
It sought to identify opportunities and options to jointly face the challenges posed by the large increase in the volume of e-waste in the NAFTA region.
