Regional training workshop on capacity assessment on wood identification for the trade of CITES-listed priority timber species

This workshop will bring together law and regulatory enforcement officers, CITES authorities, researchers, experts, producers and industry representatives to share information and experiences, as well as the basis, methodologies and tools for identifying wood from timber species identified as priorities in the Action Plan, to strengthen the enforcement of applicable CITES provisions and other laws regulating their trade in the region.
