COUNCIL RESOLUTION: 15-06
Appointment of Executive Director
THE COUNCIL:
HEREBY decides, pursuant to Article 11(1) of the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation, to appoint César Rafael Chávez Ortiz as Executive Director of the Secretariat of the Commission for Environmental Cooperation for a three-year term, to begin on 16 January 2016.
HEREBY resolves to provide Mr. Chávez Ortiz, in his capacity as the new Executive Director, with a letter of mandate articulating the Council’s direction and expectation for the Executive Director position.

On 15 December 2015, the Council appointed César Rafael Chávez Ortiz as Executive Director of the CEC Secretariat for a three-year term, to begin 16 January 2016.
