COUNCIL RESOLUTION: 14-02
Extension of deadline for use of 2013 funds
THE COUNCIL:
MINDFUL of Rule 5.3 of the Financial Rules of the CEC;
ACKNOWLEDGING the Council’s decision during its 2011 Regular Session that CEC project operations will follow a 1 July to 30 June implementation calendar;
TAKING INTO ACCOUNT the Memorandum from the Executive Director of 15 April 2014 (attached), identifying the 2013 activities planned under the 2013-2014 Operational Plan that will not be completed, and giving the reasons for the delay;
HEREBY DECIDES to transfer an amount not to exceed C$368,550 into the 2014 budget in order for these activities to be completed within the timeframes recommended in the attached memo.
