Appointment of Executive Director
THE COUNCIL:
HEREBY decides, pursuant to Article 11(1) of the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation, to appoint Dr. Irasema Coronado as Executive Director of the Secretariat of the Commission for Environmental Cooperation for a three-year term, to begin on 1 December 2012; and
HEREBY resolves, in recognition of Council’s commitment to provide clear direction to executive directors at the start of their terms, to provide Dr. Coronado with a mandate letter articulating Council’s direction and expectations with respect to her term as Executive Director.
