COUNCIL RESOLUTION: 12-07
Extension of term of current Executive Director
THE COUNCIL:
NOTING that, pursuant to Council resolution 10-01, the term of the current Executive Director of the Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC) will end on 31 August 2012;
FURTHER NOTING that the Council has initiated the search process to lead to the appointment by the Council of the next Executive Director in accordance with Article 11(1) of the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation (NAAEC); and
DETERMINED to ensure that the CEC Secretariat continue to operate without disruption until the Council appoints the new Executive Director;
HEREBY:
DECIDES to extend the term of the Executive Director of the CEC Secretariat, Evan Lloyd, until 30 November 2012.
