Approval of use of surplus funds from pre-2006 financial years for operational expenses and the approved 2007 cooperative work program
THE COUNCIL:
HEREBY AGREES that pending approval of the remainder of the Operational Plan for 2007, the Secretariat may use, until March 31, 2007 surplus funds from pre-financial year 2006 for the following 2007 financial year expenditures: the approved cooperative work program, and operational expenses (for example, rent, salaries, office supplies, telecommunications, relocation costs, fiscal services insurance), not to exceed C$2,000,000.
FURTHER NOTES that, once the budget and operational plan for year 2007 is approved, any amounts taken from pre-2006 surplus funds must be restored.
