Ce pont se situe \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re entre les \u00c9tats-Unis et le Mexique, dans les villes de Ju\u00e1rez, dans l\u2019\u00c9tat de Chihuahua, au Mexique, et d\u2019El Paso, au Texas, aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n<p>Les auteurs de la communication affirment que cette d\u00e9cision, officialis\u00e9e dans un compte rendu de d\u00e9cision et analys\u00e9e dans une \u00e9tude d\u2019impact environnemental, accro\u00eetra de mani\u00e8re disproportionn\u00e9e le trafic routier de marchandises et la pollution atmosph\u00e9rique dans la r\u00e9gion au sud du pont de Zaragoza\u2013Ysleta, o\u00f9 vivent des milliers de r\u00e9sident\u00b7es mexicain\u00b7es dans la ville de Ju\u00e1rez. Les auteurs font valoir qu\u2019en omettant d\u2019\u00e9valuer les effets sur la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019air du c\u00f4t\u00e9 mexicain de la fronti\u00e8re, les \u00c9tats-Unis n\u2019ont pas respect\u00e9 leurs obligations en vertu de l\u2019<em>Accord de La\u00a0Paz<\/em> de 1983.
