Aunque los tres pa\u00edses del TLCAN tienen reg\u00edmenes de pol\u00edticas y reglamentos para el manejo ambientalmente adecuado de las BPAU, Estados Unidos y M\u00e9xico podr\u00edan mejorar la disponibilidad de informaci\u00f3n detallada sobre las cantidades de estas bater\u00edas que cruzan las fronteras internacionales para su reciclaje, as\u00ed como sobre las plantas a las que se exportan. En este informe se ofrecen antecedentes sobre el manejo ambientalmente adecuado de las BPAU y posibles opciones y criterios que aseguren el MAA \u2014incluidos el rastreo y el transporte\u2014 de las
