What’s new this spring? Several "new" buttons on the CEC Home Page to help you keep up to date on CEC activities. Joint Public Advisory Committee (JPAC). Here you will find the names and biographies of the CEC members who serve as liaison between NGOs, educational institutions, and private groups concerned with the environment. You will also find information on the committee’s resolutions and activities. North American environment fund The CEC will soon make available operation criteria regarding this new fund intended to finance community initiatives related to the CEC’s work program. Here you will find the relevant information. List of Subscribers In order to give you timely notice of our activities, we have started a subscription program for EcoRegion and our press releases. If you wish to add your name to this free service, enter your e-mail address in this section on the Home Page. The CEC news releases and the electronic edition of EcoRegion will be automatically placed in your mailbox. Border Cooperation The database that was compiled with information from nacec.North American border cooperation programs will be available soon. The project work group is currently finalizing one of the CEC’s most ambitious projects. The inventory will include, for the first time, information on border cooperation, – formal, informal, bilateral or regional, at federal, state, or municipal levels.
