The preparation of this report stems from the CEC's Cooperative Agenda for Children's Health and the Environment in North America and forms part of the CEC's Taking Stock report series. This draft report analyses, from the perspective of children's health, publicly available data from the National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI) in Canada and the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) in the United States. The Secretariat will work with the Parties to call together some key experts to provide their input into the document through a peer review process. The expert review will also consider comments received within the comment period. Comments are encouraged on this report by 15 June 2004. Please direct your ideas and feedback to info@ccemtl.org.
