Greening of Chemicals Management in North America
Project Status: active
This project aims to address two important aspects of chemicals management in North America pertaining to trade in chemicals and their use in products: 1) enhancing the alignment of North American trade statistics on elemental mercury and mercury-containing products, to assess the progress of the implementation of the Minamata Convention on Mercury; and 2) furthering the understanding of the migration of chemicals from manufactured items and subsequent human exposure to them and/or to their releases to the environment.
