Ozone-Depleting Substances (ODS)
Ozone-depleting substances (ODS) destroy, or deplete, the Ozone Layer. These are generally compounds containing chlorine, bromine, and/or fluorine atoms. ODS are regulated substances that are strictly controlled by most countries.
