Major North American automobile manufacturing companies are often recognized for their innovative sustainable business practices, but what about their suppliers, many of which have less profile but are an essential part of the production process?

On Wednesday, June 26, representatives from Ford Mexico, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), General Motors and ERA Environmental Management Solutions will speak on a live, interactive panel being webcast from the Summit on Accelerating Innovation to Drive Sustainable Automotive Manufacturing Growth Across North America in Rochester, Michigan.

CBS Detroit journalist and long-time auto industry reporter Matt Roush will moderate a discussion and Q&A of panelists, who will highlight examples of sustainable manufacturing innovations currently in practice in the North American automotive supply chain and discuss  opportunities that exist for manufacturers, suppliers and government partners to work together to advance sustainable innovation in North America.
