The Council held its Twentieth Regular Session on 10–11 July 2013, in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Juan José Guerra, Secretary for Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat), chaired the meeting. Dan McDougall, Canadian Ambassador for Climate Change, and Bob Perciasepe, Acting Administrator of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) represented Canada and the United States, respectively. Irasema Coronado, CEC Executive Director, represented the Secretariat. Nathalie Daoust, Council Secretary, acted as secretary for the Session.
