About "8  Contract Administration"

As the contracting authority, the purchaser should receive regular feedback from clients to make sure that the supplier is conforming to the specifications in the contract. Feedback also allows you to know whether the environmental specifications are in conflict with any other specifications. If there are problems, finding out the root of it and ensuring that it can be avoided in future contracts is a proactive way of supporting environmental purchases. Also, take notice of what will happen to the product after its initial use is over. The product should be used to the end of its useful life and as the contracting authority, you can arrange for its reallocation, reuse, resale or donation. See above section on disposal.
