Approval of use of surplus funds from pre-2006 financial years for 2007 budget expenses; superseding Council Resolution 06-13
THE COUNCIL:
HEREBY AGREES, that pending approval of the Operational Plan for 2007, the Secretariat may use, until March 31, 2007 surplus funds from pre-2006 financial years, not to exceed C$2,112,000, for the following expenses: the approved Cooperative Work Program, Operating expenses, Article 13, Articles 14 and 15, Communications, Documentation Center, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting, Mexico Liaison office, Support to Council, Support to JPAC, Corporate office, External Administrative Support, Relocation/orientation and Recruitment, Salaries and Reserve for Unforeseen Needs;
HEREBY AGRESS that this resolution supersedes Council Resolution 06-13; and
FURTHER NOTES that, once the operational plan for year 2007 is approved, any amounts spent pursuant to Council Resolution 06-13 or this resolution will be charged against the approved 2007 budget.
