The Council held its nineteenth Regular Session on 10-11 July 2012, in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Lisa P. Jackson, Administrator of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), chaired the meeting, Juan Elvira Quesada, Secretary for Environment and Natural Resources, and Peter Kent, Canadian Minister of the Environment represented Mexico and Canada, respectively.
